Samsung i600 - Wifi connection problem

Gentlemen,

i bought in Greece a samsung i600 using the i600XXGD1 version of software. it seems a very good and handy phone and i really like it. the problem though, is that i cannot connect to wifi access points. last night i managed to connect to my ap but i cannot find where to change the ip address of the wlan interface to browse network or internet. could you please help me with that?

Does somebody know if it is possible to enter an ip address/gateway/dns servers etc through registry, and how?
