Guest jonokimber Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Hello. Before i might have to perform the dreaded hard reset i will check if this has been reported before.. I installed some new home pages last night and today, whilst taking a flight, turned my HTC Vox off. On arrival, the phone won't switch back on. If i try i get the HTC logo and white page, the little vibrate, then the windows mobile 6 screen, then instead of booting up, it goes back to the start and teh HTC screen, the vibrate and etc etc. I tried removing the battery, in fact i have to in order to stop the infinite loop. To no avail. I am Uk resident, roaming in the US right now but i am flying home tonight, in fact i am at the gate now. I might wait to see if its a roaming problem or if any of you guys have a suggestion before the dreaded hard reset, which i don't actually know how to do. Cheers in advance Jon
Guest owziee Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 It's a known problem... Remove the storage card and boot-up and it'll hopefully be ok... If that don't work, remove sim and boot. Good luck...
Guest jonokimber Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Thanks for the swift reply. In typical 'bad habit' mode, i posted my question, then did a search for similar threads. I found quite a lengthy thread and will give some of the stuff a try. As of yet removing the SD card hasn't helped, neither has opening the keyboard and pressing keys in the second HTC screen. Remove sim card next.... More news from England.
