Backup Solution for Hard Reset

Hi all,

Just a quickie really. I need to send my Compact III in for repair which means a hard reset though I have loads of apps installed both on my phone and on my storage card. Obviously I can take the card out but once the phone is reset the links from the main software will have disappeared.

Is there any software that I can use to back this kind of info up so I can just run an executable file when its returned and have the software back to how it is now? I've heard of Sprite Backup, would this do what I want? Don't want to waste money otherwise.

So out of 130 odd people no one has been faced with this problem before? Sorry if its a stupid question but I really don't want to have to go through the whole process of installing and setting everything up the way I have it now.

Can someone not help?
