Help! Q in distress

I downloaded a theme from this site called Vista 1.2 and it screwed my phone up. After working with it for hours I am able to get it to function with the exception of:

I no longer have a start menu. Pressing start does not take me to the icons. They are still there, but I have to continue to hit more and see what program comes up.

Also, now when I receive an incoming call the screen i garbled.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to restore it to it's normal state?

Will a master reset help?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
