Guest kame1986 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Hey guys. I deal with at least 1customer a month talking about they want to cancel stuff with Orange and the always through some sort of regulations act in my face. Can any1 find the link to the particular regulations act that talks about returning a product within 28days etc. Would be a great help... thx
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 Its the Sale of Goods act. Google it, but i think the DTI website has a basic rundown. As far as i could see when i looked it up Orange's policy was (more or less) within the law.

Likewise, if the phone is supplied according to requirements, but when it is at home, its reception is so bad you can't get a signal, they'd also have to replace it (as long as you'd made it clear you live in a poor signal area) But if you simply don't like the phone, and want it changed, you then have to rely on Customer Satisfaction policies, which aren't enshrined in law. I don't know if Orange Retail have a 28 day policy, but Orange Online certainly allow a replacement for any reason within 7 days, which I've used successfully.
