Guest yatpeak Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 I'm not sure about the settings you have to enter, I'm afraid. Have you rung up Vodafone and asked them the settings you should enter. You might consider not asking them for the settings for the SPV but rather the settings for another phone that works on GPRS as some companies have a problem with you having as SPV (for one, Optus in Australia do not allow phones other than those they provide). It took me about a month to get GPRS working on Australia. Just fiddle around with the settings until it works, I suggest. Wyatt

Guest HelloDave Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 I am about to give up and get the p800 the battry life on this this is do bad You really think the P800 will be better? :) Someone else got Vodafone GPRS settings on this forum, so the thread is around somewhere. Call Vodafone, pretend you have a different phone so you don't confuse them, and get the GPRS settings. Enter them in Settings...Data Connections under "Orange GPRS" and everything should work. You need to enter settings for WAP and MMS seperately under their respective connections, and also have a look at the "MMS Setup" program.
