Guest Cuago Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Guys, When installing a CAB file I've created, I always get this warning: "Info: The program you have installed may not display properly because it was designed for a previous version of Windows Mobile software" You can continue the installation but... Does anyone know why you get this message and how to avoid it? Thanks for any suggestions!

Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 For info purposes... When packaging files into a CAB, the author can specify the target device operating system requirements (ie minimum/ maximum OS version, min/max OS build). The author may also perform custom actions or present miscellaneous installation instructions thru a Setup DLL that is embedded on the CAB archive. It could be that the CAB file you were trying to install had this kind of setup so that is why you encountered such message.
