Help ASAP please

Hey just got my S710 from ebay and all was well... until I tried to make a call... the person I called couldn't hear me at all.. so I hung up and she called me back, still couldn't hear me. I tried putting on the speaker phone but that didn't help. I plugged the headset in and she could finally hear me.... any ideas on how to fix this? thanks in advance

Is it new or used?

There could be some crap stuck in the headphone jack, causing the phone to be stuck in headset mode.

Thanks for the quick reply but I checked that and it is not the problem :-( I just did a complete factory reset and still no avail... any more ideas? no new firmware I assume?

might have to :-( sucks, I got it for a good price.. an update.. the video recorder AND voice notes do NOT record the audio... I guess there is a problem with the mic.

another update.... if I tap on the mic, I can hear the tapping noises in the play back but still no voice. so random
