Can Smartphone programs run on Pocket PC?

Hey y'all, I have a bit of a silly question. I'm thinking of upgrading from my Faraday to a Kaiser, but I've purchased a few programs for the Faraday that I'd like to carry over to the next device I get. Does anyone know, generally speaking, if it's possible to use smartphone programs on a Pocket PC device? I know they aren't usually compatible the other way (i.e. pocket PC on smartphone) but I was under the impression that was mainly because of the touch screen issue.

Thanks!

Generally speaking, as you say, they are not cross-compatible either way.

It all comes down to stylus v keypad control.

You would be suprised how many are compatable and how many will let you use one key on both devices.

Best bet is to ask the s/ware writers for the apps you are interested in.
