Guest vampyre69 Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Here goes. I just thought. When I buy software for my mac over the net I buy a serial number rather than the software, that way if i delete or need to replace/update it I simply download it again and put the serial number back in. This leads me onto my question.... For example if I downloaded interstella flames and needed it again later for some reason what do I do? (I know its only a pound but some other games are £12) Again when I download my mac software it is compressed or as a installer file when I download stuff to my spv it seems to download/install/remove download. Is there any way of keeping the installer file for backup? This also leads onto the dark question or grey area of..... Does this lead to pirate software if the above is possible then what is stopping someone from sharing software/serial numbers?
Guest Bazz Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Handango allows you to re-donload software if you give your Credit Card info again.
Guest yatpeak Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 They should send a link to download it again to the e-mail adress you specified. Wyatt
