Hi All,

I have just bought the fantastic HTC Kaiser and wanted to get some recommendations for a bluetooth headset to work along side the phone... Should i look at only HTC or other manufacturers?

Plantronics 510, at least from the 1000+ positive reviews on Amazon versus the others.

Does have really good sound than compared to the later Plantronics 655 where the AudioIQ went out of control.

I was planning to get one aswell, but I'm waiting to see how the conflict with the BT - low sound/metallic sound goes. If it's a hardware issue or software and which headset has not problems. Porbably thinking of getting the HTC one to see if that one has the 'known' issues

I have both Plantronics, and I'm still happier with the sound on 510 on both the Kaiser and the SE t637. No BT volume issues; don't know about "metallic" sound, but the sound envelope is different from the SonyEricsson and maybe unavoidable. However, it seems all phones have different sound envelopes due to the sound components in the manufacturing. Sorta like tubes vs solid-state so it could be just a Kaiser "signature" sound. Look at the reviews @ http://www.wirelessinfo.com/, such as http://www.wirelessinfo.com/content/HTC-Mo...dio-Quality.htm, to understand what I mean. I wish they would review the Kaiser sometime soon.

The only probable BT problem I've "had" was with the Prius because I had the Prius set at -3 receive volume being the t637 was so LOUD. I have it set to +2 volume, and it's fine and dandy with the Kaiser now.

I just need a quick BT headset switcher for the Kaiser. Looks like I'll have to write my own probably.
