SD memory encrypted files after reset

Hey, i wish i could get some help with this problem, i had to restart my cellphone, a HTC excalibur because i had some problems with it, and after i restarted it, the files on the sd external memory card where all encrypted, does anyone know of a way i can recover those files plz?

Back up your phone before resetting or your shafted, or don't lock it in the first place!
