WM6 - cant delete registry item ? HELP

as per the title - i have an iPaq 514 and need to tweak something in the registry.

If i try to delete an entry in HKLM\Comm\RTC\AdapterTypes

I get Warning - Could not delete files(s)!

Anyone help please ?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm is a protected system registry entry. You may need privileged execution mode if you plan to modify system registry entries, hence, the registry editor you are using should be signed with a privileged certificate.

Other protected system registry entries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Init

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\WDMDrivers

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services

HKEY CLASSES_ROOT (device specific)

On non-WM6 SP units like the C500, I use PHM Registry Editor (the one signed with HTC Cert) right after phone is unlocked with SDA Security Unlocker.
