Can it be Done? (PPC/Linux/Palm/Symbian apps on Wm5)

Hello,

I want to start off by saying thank you to all the great contributing members (and staff!!!) of this forum. I have been able to get away without posting here, due simply to all the great help and info eveyone recieves!!! THANK YOU MoDaCo!!!

So, I've been searching google like it's my job for days but have come up with little to show for it. I began looking for a way to bootload? any version of Linux on my i607 (WM5 : OS 5.1.342 (Build 15100.3.0.2) / Pro : ARM926EJ OMAP1710 / ROM Up. : 5.1.342.15100 ) to run some really cool apps I have found. Then I went on to look for a way to install/convert ppc 2003 apps to WM5 to run a mobile python build I came across that is PPC 2003 specific. (This file is not intended for this device..... :D )

I have found a few blogs about python on WM5, but nothing definitive. The same goes for the Linux search, though I did see a youtube vid with Linux running on an axiom(?). Still not alot of help. I thought for sure getting the PPC part to work would be finding the right emulator or app, since WM5 is a version of 2003. (right??) The Microsoft SDK for WM says you can convert PPC apps to WM5 but the install didn't work (error about unsupported codecs or something) and I fear its probably beyond me anyway.

I have a good bit of software installed on my blackjack, and I am familiar with the different ways to install apps and whatnot (.NET 2.0/SQL2005 MSBT Stack ect...) I have a good bit of USER computer knowledge but havent found what I need yet. So if your extemely brave or enlightened and think you can help....read on. I look forward to your replies!!!

p.s. I have ALOT of apps from ALL mobile OS systems PM me I'll be glad to help you find something specific. (off MoDaCo of course.....sorry admins, I have a bad torrent/warez habit ;) )
