Guest Chief Curmudgeon Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) I just received the following information from The Phone Store, an authorized AT&T agent in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, about my new HTC/AT&T 8925: "Subject: Tilt. "I just got notification. We will have it tomorrow by 3:00PM." Cheers! Edited October 4, 2007 by Chief Curmudgeon
Guest AndyNJ Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) Looks like I'll be paying AT&T a visit after work tomorrow! I'm sure it was posted elsewhere in this forum, but there's so much information and that one thread alludes to it all over the place so searching it is a little annoying... Where can we download the HTC ROM? I definitely plan on flashing to that. Edited October 4, 2007 by AndyNJ
Guest burrzoo Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=4800...articleid=24486 After reading the news feed I'm wondering if they disabled the GPS if you try to use it with other GPS software. AT&T still seems to be promoting their own "pay" service and displayed pricing as follows: TeleNav GPS Navigator is available for additional monthly charges of $5.99 for 10 trips and $9.99 for unlimited trips. That's a bunch of Hooey if you can't use TomTom or Google etc. with the Tilt. I know that I spent a ton of money but I'm glad I bought an unlocked version. Those over-priced data plans are such a price-gouging tactic that AT&T should be ashamed of themselves. Even the iPhone data plan was only $20. Do they think people will surf so much that it will blow up that limited 3G service they offer? Their 3G and HSDPA isn't all that blazing anyway. OK, I've ranted enough. At least the price of the phone was reasonable...compared to some of their other offerings. At least those that couldn't afford the unlocked Kaiser will have a chance to enjoy a fine new toy really soon!
