Guest christhedon Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Hi, I have a MDA Vario II, activesync on Windows XP and Outlook 2003. I'd like to sync just 5kb of *sent* email from my mobile to my PC and vice versa, so I can see what I have sent via my PC or phone and both of the devices. E.g. I send an email from my PC and then the next day I want to seee what I sent on my mobile, but unfortunately I cannot because the email is only on PC. And vice-versa. Is it possible to sync sent emails and if so please could you let me know how to do it? Thanks a lot in advance, Chris
Guest Confucious Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 In messaging->Outlook E-mail->Menu->Tools->Manage Folders you can select which folders to Sync but you can't select different sizes for different foulders, so if you download all your inbox you will download all your sent items. HTH

HTH Hi, I spent a while trying to find the option in Outlook you mentioned, but cannot find it... When I load outlook the only top level menu items I see are File, Edit, View, Go, Tools, Actions, Help. Under the tools menu I do not see the manage folders option. I am using Outlook 2003... Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Chris

I have a PPC not a SmartPhone now but I believe it will be the same. Good luck

Unfortunately, when I navigate to manage folders I don't have the option to sync anything on any of the folders... Any idea? Thanks, Chris
Guest Confucious Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Do you not have the option to Sync the folders? In WM6 you can just select which folders you want to Sync. The only WM5 phone I have doesn't have email set up on it so I can't check. Sorry.

Unfortunately my sent items on the phone are split up into the accounts they're under, whereas the sent items on my PC is just one big sent items folder. Is there a way to imitate the PCs behaviour on the phone?
