Wireless Headset Help !!

Hi Guys,

After my recent love for Halo 3 was exposed i decided to invest in a limited edition Halo 3 wireless headset. Got it home i spent the required 6 hours charge time. When it got to the conversational part well...there aint none... I followed the instructions and pressed both connect buttons...it gets assigned to "quadrant 2" with there being a controller on 1. It says in the manual that it'll assign to the controller if there hasn't already been 1. I've never even touched one before let alone link it up so that can't be the problem...any one with any helpful advice ??
