Guest FlangeArtist Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Hi all, The GPS signal for the Kaiser is OK, but only OK. I was looking to get an aerial for to improve the signal. I'd really like for it to be compact enough that it would fit within (all be it snugly) the case that comes with the phone. Anyone got some advice or know of a suitable product?

I thought the reception was pretty good - I get 4 bars when it's sitting on the centre partition in my car (under the dash, in front of the gearstick). I also managed to pick up a signal from inside my kitchen too (I was about 10' from the window!).
Guest ravage Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Yeah, the GPS reception is pretty good. It's unlikley you will need an external arial. HTC do make one for the TyTN II http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?partner=modaco&i=151025 Though I wouldn't say it's compact.... maybe put the excess cable in your back pocket? ;)
Guest Phil Lee Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 I've just bought TomTom for my VIII and used it for the first time this morning. I was getting 4 and 5 bars all the time I was using it.
