C500 screen detached from curcuit of phone

A while ago my SPV C500 answer call button got stuck, a common problem so I here. I've persisted with the phone, until..

..the number 1 button got stuck in. Thinking the phone had just crashed, I whipped out the battery to find that when I replaced it the numbers 111111 were automatically being pressed when I was being prompted to insert the phone lock password. The phone was therefore unusable without fixing the number 1 button.

I decided to dismantle the phone using the guide I found on Modaco which linked me to this - http://www.digimission.com/?page_id=25

But....In dismantling I have managed to disconnect the screen ribbon thing from the circuit board of the phone. I've now fixed the buttons but I'm unable to re-attach this ribbon thing.

Does anyone know a good way of reconnecting it, it is extremely figity? Please help.
