Guest Rolandhurt01 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I am trying to find help on how to create a Microsoft Office Outlook plug in to integrate the text messaging feature of Outlook Mobile with the Desktop version of Outlook, so that I can create folders for my messages and back them up on my laptop. If anyone can point me in the right direction to find the information that I require it would be appreciated. Once I have developed the plug in I will post it on here for free download.

Jeyo Mobile Extender does just that - http://www.jeyo.com/extender.asp Not free, but a fantastic application and well worth $20.
Guest Rolandhurt01 Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) Jeyo Mobile Extender seems to be incompatible with Windows Mobile 6. Edited October 13, 2007 by Rolandhurt01

The reason that I want to create my own is because I want to learn how to program for Windows Mobile, Windows and Office, as I onlywork for minimum wage if I make my own programms it is saving me what little money I have and I will know that it is Windows Mobile 6 and Windows Vista compatable, an d would be filling in a neglected hole in the Freeware market for Windows Mobile. ;)

I understand what you're saying, but Jeyo Mobile Extender is fantastic and integrates so good with Outlook. It also has been around for a year or 2, so it has taken Jeyo a while to get to where Mobile Extender is at. To learn how program on WM, Windows and Office would take you a long time, and for a program to integrate all 3 would be impossible from scratch if you have no or little knowledge at the moment.
