Guest PapaPrem Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 When I had the Cingular 8125 Pocket PC, there was a really usefull app closing program called ZapIt. You were able to map it to a hardware program, which would allow you to close any program running in the active window, out of memory, by pressing the button that it is mapped to. Is there any program similar to this for Windows Smartphones? I know that they have Task Managers which you can map to a button. However, they dont instantly close the active window. You usually have to go to the menu and select "close all programs". Not to mention, these task manager programs usually run actively in memory. ZapIt did not need to be running in the backgound, thus saving memory.
