Flashing ROM image from .bin file using MTTY

Hi,

# I initially posted this in the begginers section because it was my first post, but I figured it would probably get more attention in this section.

I need to flash an SPV with a new ROM image, it's in the form a .bin file. I have the MTTY application and the instructions for doing it with a serial leed, but I don't have a serial leed.

Has anyone done this using USB and the ordinary phone cradle?

Or is their another way of getting the image on the phone (it isn't an SD card image, so that's out of the question)?

Thanks Rob, but I really needed to overcome this today if possible. I will have a leed by tomorrow anyway as it happens.

Any other idea's?

As far as I know, serial and SDcard image are the only ways to flash a rom image.
