Guest FrankyG Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 This works HERE - but has anyone found an alternative free solution yet? Thanks, FrankyG
Guest jimbouk Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 The free solution being using activesync but only as a guest on other pc's - so no syncing just access to phone's memory.

Guest Webreaper Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I've read about qa WM6-compatible version of WM5torage, but never got it to work. Is it a myth?
Guest jimbouk Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I guess you wont get high speeds with RNDIS on, try turning it off?
Guest rmg Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 WM5torage does not work with Kaiser ;)
Guest FrankyG Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I guess you wont get high speeds with RNDIS on, try turning it off? Already off, low speeds I'm afraid. FYI WM5torage works after you install Card Export II, just waiting to see if WM5torage will continue to work when the trial period is over ;) FrankyG
Guest Jim_R Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Not free, but his would do it. http://www.officedepot.com/products/Memory...B-Drive/838787/

Guest NuShrike Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 How bizarre, they must be replacing a driver?Card Export uses its own USB drivers. WM5torage uses the system USB drivers. This is what I remember from the WM5torage FAQ somewhere.
Guest flashflash Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 anyones trial period over yet? Yep, trial period finished, WM5torage works still!!! Excellent news. ;) :(
Guest sc0user_75 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I downloaded WM5torage. But I just cant seem to figure out how to use it!!! Is it as simple as switching the programme on and then hooking up my VIII to any computer and using it as a USB Stick? Being able to drag and drop to and frm the phone???

I've read the original thread for WM5torage and the more I read it the more worried I am about messing up the phone! Does this software only convert the internal memory to USB storage? Or can it use the storage card as USB Storage?

Or can it use the storage card as USB Storage? It lets you access the Storage card as a mass storage device.
