Orange Line 2 does it or does it not work?

My Orange Tytn II arrived today.

After inserting my SIM card I was confused to find no sign of Line 2. My SIM gives me line 2 in my wife’s Nokia N95 and N73?

It appears that some people with Generic HTC Tytn's have had some success with Line 2?

I called orange today and apart from the fact they initially had no idea what a Tytn is they said they would go speak to someone about it.

They called me back about an hour later to inform me they had spoken to HTC and the Tytn II does NOT support line 2. No Windows Mobile Phone Does! When I told her I know of people with it working on a generic Tytn II she said perhaps Orange have removed it in their version! As Orange are the only provider with Line 2 this makes no sense.

This would also appear to contradict what people here have found here with their Generic Tytn's?

Should I re-flash with the standard HTC Rom and if I do will I or will I not get my line 2 operational?

If anyone can help I would be eternally grateful.

As far as I know, Windows Mobile does not support Line2 at all.

Are you sure those who have said it works understand what Line2 is? Some people successfully use a Dual SIM holder, allowing 2 lines, but only one can be active at any time, so not genuine Line 2.

No people have said they have been able to switch between lines! I have also seen quotes about being able to make but not receive a call on line 2.

I currently have my line 2 diverted to my line 1 for incomming but I my line 2 is on an old tarrif with 50 off peak mins a day for £7 which is great for calling friends and family.

If anyone can confirm anything it would at least allow me to decide if I can do anything.
