Guest scottt Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I have ordered my tytnII and expect it on monday so I feel its time to change my home screen as I have been using the same one for a while now and am shure there must be a load of today plugins that I am misssing, so let us know what you use and post pics if you can. Cheers Scott This is mine I use Fizz traveller for time and weather, spb insight for news, phone weaver for profiles, - (will be keeping this - great for turning wifi, bluetooth, phone and push email, on/off from the homescreen) pocket breeze to show appointments and mail and toggle today to hide the bottom bars to give me more space on the today screen
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I just use the standard HTC Home and Calendar i'm afraid ;) P
Guest chilledatthebottom Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 Oooh, I remember running Pocket Breeze on my old SPV M500...Might have to revisit the app on my Vario3 ;)
Guest scottt Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I have had it on my m500 m600 and m3100 so would like a change
Guest Phil Lee Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I've tried a few home screens in the last couple of weeks. I started with PocketBreeze like I had on my Vario. I've finally settled on SPB Mobile Shell. I have 4 tabs, the Home tab with 12 shortcuts, SPB PhoneSuite, PocketBreeze as a calendar and WeatherPanel in the 4th tab. I'm really happy with the way it looks and how easy it is to use.
Guest McHale Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I just use the standard HTC Home and Calendar i'm afraid ;) P same here with the 6th tab enabled. -Mc
Guest wizzzard Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 QUOTE(Paul (MVP) @ Oct 12 2007, 14:27) I just use the standard HTC Home and Calendar i'm afraid ;) P same here with the 6th tab enabled. -Mc Same here, but if I could shrink the HTC Home clock by a few pixels I would find something else to fill the reclaimed space. According to my Settings>Today>Items I also had T-Mobile@home enabled but nothing is displayed, so I disabled this. Does anyone know what this plugin is supposed to do?
Guest dolbe666 Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) THe HTC homescreen, tomtom, messages and resco plugin with the compact icons. nice and simple Also with the 6th tab enabled Edited October 13, 2007 by dolbe666
Guest DJ_Enigma Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 SPB Plus How do you take a screen print? Cheers, DJ
Guest PeterJD Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 I use: HTC Home TodayAgenda to show appointments (free from http://www.tiews.info/index.php?show=&lang=en ), used very simply in compact view without word wrap. Device Lock (Is there a hard key combination that locks the device?)
Guest Swampie Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Device Lock (Is there a hard key combination that locks the device?) Yes, press and hold the red hangup button.

Guest Mr.Clark Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 same here with the 6th tab enabled. -Mc What 6th tab? Also, I find that if I have the HTC Home and Calendar enabled I don't want anything else or it falls off the bottom when I flip the screen up. That's what the Start menu is for, after all...
Guest PeterJD Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Yes, press and hold the red hangup button. Thanks!
Guest Jim_ill_007 Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Thanks! The red button just stops my 3g/gprs doesnt lock the device...mines a vodaphone v1615 anyone else got this problem
Guest mandt Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) Interesting......I really miss this function, and would prefer to have the red button do a disconnect, wonder how to change it? P.S. I've also got the HTC Home (6 Tab) and today agenda, seems like all you need ;) Edited October 13, 2007 by mandt
Guest Alkali Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Yes, press and hold the red hangup button. How about unlocking it, not thru press "unlock'' or "star"
Guest CorruptedSanity Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Yeah how about unlocking without needing to tap the unlock on the screen.
Guest FrankyG Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Yeah how about unlocking without needing to tap the unlock on the screen. Do a search for "OnLockPro" - freeware again.
Guest CorruptedSanity Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Where do you guys keep getting these apps? Is there some sort of directory or online catalogue? Im a veyr recently ex-SE M600i owner. Symbian phones barely had any apps.
Guest scottt Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 For locking my phone I use slide to unlock and have it mapped to the right soft key so I can lock it with one touch and to unlock it I just have to slide my finger across the screen.
Guest sc0user_75 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Scott where did you get that unlock software from? Also, how on earth do you lads enable the 6th tab??? Can't seem to find it anywhere!
Guest Shuflie Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Scott where did you get that unlock software from? Also, how on earth do you lads enable the 6th tab??? Can't seem to find it anywhere! 1. There's a link on XDA developers 2. Have a look a Paul's TyTN II/ MDA Vario III tweak pack thread, the sixth tab is the music tab mentioned as the second item.
