Pocket friendly protection for the phone

the phone is great however the supplied t-mobile case makes the phone too bulky to fit the phone into jean pockets. i need some sort of protection that will not vastly increase the phone size but still offer some protection.

any ideas?

i think cases are out of the question, all the ones i have looked at seem to be quite bulky. Some sort of skin would be good though

im not sure if skins will come. because its hard to make one so the keyboard can come out.
