Online email service working with Sent folder on IMAP

Hi,

I have been using both Pocket PCs and smartphones for some years, I am now using Motorola Q9h. I have an email service located in Norway that I am connection to using IMAP.

On all of my phones I have had the same problem that Sent folder is not being synchronized with the email server. When sending an email it is being sent ok but it is not stored in the Sent folder. All the settings are ok.

I have been reading that this is because of bad implementation of the IMAP on the email server and several people have this working and several people have it not working.

My question is: Do you have any recommendations on email services (yahoo, AOL etc.) that is working with my smartphone and also are synchronizing the Sent folder ok? I need to access the mail server using IMAP because I am using push mail against the Exchange server where I am working.

Try www.fastmail.fm. They have an option under their settings which automatically copies emails sent via their SMTP server to your sent items folder. To use their SMTP server you have to sign up for a paid account. Gmail also now do IMAP and have a similar option.
