Really simple question. Is there any simple way I can add or delete which programs boot up when you turn on the phone.

Its the same as Windows on a pc... copy the programs shortcuts to \windows\startup folder.

or get memmaid and you can add and remove startup programs easily i use v1.72

Loads of ways. You can add plug ins to the today screen using various different programs like SPB pocket plus or Wisbar Advance or simply the HTC home
