Guest ant_thomas Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 I had some contact backup software that backed the contacts up to a .csc file. It was very simple, but I can't find it again. It ran on the PDA itself. Sure it was free as well. Backed up in the format of "contacts_20071013.csc" Any ideas what it is? Just I did a backup with Jeyo Mobile Companion and when it restores contacts they're all backwards and need their 'File As' option changing. Ie, John Smith used to show as John Smith, it is now Smith John. Very annoying when you're trying to find contacts and you're used to the old way. Hope someone can help!
Guest mandt Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 PIM backup is very good and runs on the Phone, it also backs up your Calendar, Tasks, texts, etc. Highly Recommended!
Guest Menneisyys Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Another vote for PIM Backup. I've posted a full tutorial on it to the Smartphone forums here.
Guest Speed5000 Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Pretty late on this reply, but if you happen to check this posting again - I use one very simple program call 'NS Contacts Backup v.1.2'. I then save the backup to the memory card on the phone. Software: NS Contacts Backup Web DL: http://nscontacts.nyxbull.net Home: www.nyxbull.net
Guest Sure01 Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 You can use Oxygen Phone Manager or LogoManager.
