You can't exactly drag 'n' drop the file on windows recorder? Plus I got want to record it on a mic, because the sound quailty will be poorer! Any other suggestions, please?

Yes, Click the button "open" or simply drag and drop the songs you want onto the main screen to specify a mp3 file.Then click the button to make the volume of mp3 smaller ,click the to make the volume of mp3 bigger. Job done!

Thats exactly what windows sound recorder does for wavs.... Start menu.....Programs....accessories...entertainment....sound recorder ;) open wav.... Effects... increase volume by 25% :( Safe file.
