Guest DJ_Enigma Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 ok, I hate the fact that I can't charge my phone and use hands free at the same time so I am going to have to get a bluetooth headset asap as I drive for a living. Please can someone recommend one? I was looking at the plantronics one they sell in the T-mobile stores for £19.99, but I don't know if it's supposed to be any good. I think it's a Plantronics BT340. Anyone got this headset? I've borrowed a plantronics BT320 off my mum and I think it's awful. The sound is all crackly and I didn't like it at all. But then it is VERY old, so this new plantronics may be better? Any recommendations? If I could pick a good one up from a highstreet store it would be even better ;) Cheers all, DJ
Guest Ghost_1 Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 sorry to say what ever bt headset u get ur not going to be happy. the kaiser has an unfortunately horrible BT ability. there are threads on this. however might i suggest one of the usb to usbext splitters i see on ebay al the time. the only reason i'm suggesting this is that while i still knew the BT problems with the kaiser i still spent a buck and a half on a jawbone last night. i'm really disappointed with the kaiser and jawbone combo. on the lighterside my old, well really old jabra 200 is great minus the fact it huge and stupid looking. good luck with it whichever way u choose.

Do these splitters allow you to use the supplied wired handsfree at the same time as charging? At the moment I'm looking at a Bluespoon AX2. Cheers, DJ
Guest dolbe666 Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 if your looking for a stereo BT headset i got the Jabra 320s and its got an excellent sound quality for both calls and music. I got mine on ebay for £24.99 but you can get them at http://www.mymemory.co.uk for about £29 the good theing about the Jabra 320s is you can use your own headphones so im using my sony headphones and the bass is nice and heavy
Guest Neil5459 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 The Plantronics 640 is an excellent BT headset- good sound, and can pair simultaneously with 2 phones, acccepting incoming calls from either. Outgoing calls using the headset's button go via the last active phone, but switching is quick.
