How to integrate Facade int HomeScreen?

I am working on a HomeScreen based on a modified version of Looby's TNTY II HomeScreen for the HTC Vox/SPV E650 and I am trying to work out how to integrate a tabbed Facade 1.31 plug-in instead of using the default calendar plug-in, but I can not workout how to do it without the HomeScreen text being miss alined with the background image. Any help would be appreciated.
