Guest thorominth Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 (edited) Hey! ;) I looked for it but it seems that I'm the only ignorant. Is there an application in VOX that helps managing key attachments? I know how to attach f.e. Windows Media Player to "2" key, but I don't know how to delete/modify attachments or attach something apart from stuff in Start menu... Thanks! ed. Another thing. How can I find my sms from File-Explorer level? Want to hard-reset without loosing my messages. Edited October 20, 2007 by thorominth

"Speed Dial" gives the ability to attach applications to certain keys Go into Start Menu, highlight the Application you want to link to a key, select "Menu" (Right key) > 1. Add Speed Dial Then to launch the program, from the homescreen, press and hold that key. For double digits, i.e 10, press 1, then press and hold 0. To delete/modify these Speed Dials, go into the Start Menu > Speed Dial application. For SMS, you can back them up using applications such as Jeyo Mobile Extender or Mobile Companion. See www.jeyo.com. There are other alternatives too. But better still, why not backup everything, including all your installed software using Sprite Backup so a hard-reset is not the end of the world anymore. http://www.spritesoftware.com/
Guest thorominth Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 To delete/modify these Speed Dials, go into the Start Menu > Speed Dial application. What if it simply isn't there? When I hard reset, it clenses the memory so there's nothing on the phone or just restores everything to the state it was in when I bought my phone?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 When you do a hard reset it returns the phone to its "out of the box" state so it's like picking up a new phone again.
