Guest rebecker Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 I live in an area where cell phone service is nearly nonexistent, so I often turn the phone off to conserve battery life. When I turn the phone back on I get the following dialogs pictured here. What is the TyTN looking for? Is there a way to stop this dialog from coming up? My cell sevice here doesn't offer Direct Push service or any Data Connection. I have a standard GSM phone number and text messaging. Thanks. -Bob-

It says to contact your network provider to get the settings it cant fiind

Guest jimbouk Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 You could put in some dummy setings into the MY ISP section. As long as you don;t then open a data connection (such as internet explorer) on the phne, it won't bother you again.

Guest xeno1 Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 You can also go in to settings-->connection tab-->connection setup-->menu and uncheck the "enable auto configuration". I accidentally deleted the database out of my temp files when I was cooking a ROM for my wizard and was getting the same message.
