Gmail now supports IMAP

Reading this article on The Register, I notice that Gmail now supports IMAP.

Great! So I dutifully follow the link and end up at this page

But the trouble is, it's not working on my Vario III. It just keeps prompting for a username and password.

I've tried [email protected] and just my.username but neither work.

Is this a problem with the way WM6 handles IMAP? ;)

I think your account needs to be enabled for it... IMAP isn't showing in my GMail account yet...

Ah, excellent point. I've tried signing out and in again, I suppose it's just wait and see for the time being...

Yeh.

It seems to work fine for English (US) users - so if u need it quickly, you can change your default language.

Or just wait it out.

I guess they are doing it alphabetically... Sucks when your name begins with S. But Better than Z...
