My main machine is a mac, but when i'm not enveloped in the loveliness of OSX, my time is split between Ubuntu and Vista. With the recent release of Ubuntu's latest and greatest version 7.10 (aka 'Gutsy Gibbon'!), I thought it would be kinda fun to try and get sync working, and produce a simple guide. As you'd expect, it's not really that straightforward, and while i've had some degree of success (see screenshot below), I think it would be handy to have a collaborative effort going on the site with some real Linux gurus pitching in their expertise to get everything 100%. So, this is the call to arms! ;) If you want to be involved either as a simple tester or as someone with Linux installing / hacking / fiddling experience, then please head over to this topic and make yourself known! It would be so cool to be able to set up Ubuntu sync in a straightforward and reliable way... P
