Apparantely this program is FAR, FAR superior to the windows pictures gallery - any one know how we can get it on our kaisers? (If at all?)

Cheers Rich

I agree it would be excellent to have this, especially with the touchflo stuff. What is FAR though?

I hope that was sarcasm ;)

FAR -

to a considerable degree; very much; "a far far better thing that I do"; "felt far worse than yesterday"; "eyes far too close together"

of course it was, just highlighting your capitals ;)

You can get it on the xda-developers forum. I am unsure if attaching it here is allowed, so I haven't.

I can confirm it's a lovely slick app though ;)

Are you allowed to link to the XDA site?

Probably, but you'll find it quite easily by typing "xda developers" into google, sir ;)

Ive been warned about linking to xda-developers cab files for download so I would assume its not allowed. As to if you can link to the forum post on xda-developers im not sure but would like feedback from paul about it if possible. as its not actually linking to downloads but rather the intelectual content that give information to such downloads

For those googling, the app is called HTC Album, not HTC Gallery.

Am I right in thinking that there is no way to browse folders (i.e. all images found are displayed together)?

Posted

It works in conjunction with your camera, if your cam is set to save to your card the album will look on the card, and it scans all sub-folders

Remember that from WM2003 ;)

Unfortunately I don't want it to scan all the directories... I want it to scan the directory I point it to...

Any ideas?

Posted

From what I've read I don't think it's possible, it just points at what your camera saves to
