No way retrospectively ;)

There are programs you can install to assist security and acheive remote wiping, but unless thye are installed before the loss/theft it won't help you.

You can also alert the mobile phone company to the theft- they can block the IMEI number from connecting to any UK network, but it won't prevent access to the PDA functions.

UNless its a WM5 phone with a coproate exchnage server account and it is set up for remote wiping - in which case, let your IT department know.

Jimbo- does remote wiping clear teh whole device, or just the Exchange stuff? Noticed the option in OWA but didn't feel like testing it ;)

I think it is just exchange stuff and thus contacts/calendar/tasks/email. But I would have thought that most "sensitive stuff" will be in emails and/or attachments?

Haven't set it up myself though.

Remote Wipe does a Hard Reset, so it removes everything from the device (but doesn't touch the memory card)

Actually, I was able to find these that can help “remotely” erase your phone info. It’s worth a look. Seems like an alternative to owning a server, too much $$. Good Luck.

www.mobilesky.com – remote erase for free
