Daft Outlook Question

Hi there,

this is probably a stupidly daft and easy question, but i cant for the life of me work it out.

I got my new Vario III last nite, and i'm loving it.

I've configure email to connect to my gmail account via IMAP, and it works great. The only thing that's bugging me is downloading the contents of emails, as i've set it to dload headers only for speed.

IS there not a way i can click "Get the rest of this message" and it buzes off and does it automatically, without me having to kick off a new send/recieve???

As that seems rather long winded...

Any ideas?

Cheers

Gavin

Will you really notice the difference if you set it to retrieve full messages on the initial connect?

Prob not, but i was thinking more from a battery life point of view... Take it there's no easy way then???

Cheers

No. Exchange email acts like that but not any pop or imap accounts.

Why not set it to download 5kb of each email? The first 5kb tell you if the email is anything worthwhile.
