Using RJShortcut with C600

Hi there, I've managed to create my first homescreen but have a problem with the RJShortcut bar. When I move over the various icons, there is no visible sign that the icon will be selected as there is with the mru iconbar. I have found how to display the application name on the iconbar so I know which is being selected but this isn't very elegant.

I've tried a transparent colour on some lines but no luck. Any ideas?
