Guest meddleuk Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Hi, I have just bought a new 4GB microSDHC card to replace the 1GB card that came pre-installed in my Touch. Is it possible to copy the contents of my 1GB card to the new card as I have several programs directly installed on it as well as a few photos? Also if it is possible to copy to the new card will I have any problem with the Touch recognizing the contents on the new card. Will it still behave the same or will some programs need to be re-installed? Thanks for any help, meddle
Guest Neil5459 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 You can do a simple copy and paste operation from the old card to the new, using a PC as an intermediary. Be aware that the majority of PC Card readers won't work with SDHC cards, so you may need a new one. Mke sure the whole Folder structure stays the same. The PPC should just see the card as 'Storage Card' so won't mind which actual Storage Card is present, and registry entries/program shortcuts will just point to the 'Storage Card'
