Just a quick TomTom Version 5 Question

Hi guys,

So i'm finally getting round to sorting out a sat-nav solution for HTC S710. I've been reading through the (many!) threads regarding TomTom and just wanted to check this for definate before I go out and waste £50! Will Version 5 work fully with my WM6 S710 without any problems at all? Is there anything I should be aware of at all, any glitches/issues etc? Also am I correct in thinking TomTom 5 comes with the gps receiver? Many thanks in advance

Version 5.2 will work without problems. That's what I use and everything is great.

Mine didn't come with GPS receiver though....

not strictly true.. it won't work in landscape mode...

Yeah that's true. Forgot about that - not a problem for me though ;)

Well I can certainly live without it working in Landscape mode, thats no problem. Thanks for the advice guys, think i'm going to go treat myself to some TomTom action ;) Thanks again!

Where are you getting your Tom Tom software? I've got an Orange SPV 650 (already have a bluetooth receiver) - will Tom Tom work on it (even though it doesn't have a touch screen)?
