Interested in having your car on a rolling road to raise money for Cancer Research and at the same time, find out what figures your car achieved?

Then read on…

Clive Atthowe Tuning in Norwich is hosting a “Dyno Open Weekend” to launch their brand new Dastekn Dyno equipment. You can turn up during that weekend to have your car RR’ed for just £35 (inc VAT). This includes a printed graph of your bhp/torque and where possible boost/AFR. All vehicle types are welcome.

Above is a photo of their new equipment, Clive showed me around the new unit on the other day and I'm well impressed with the new technology. It's now in their own unit (inside the building), sound proofed, better fan to cool down the engine (25bhp fan!!) and the unit has two windows, where you can peek inside plus a monitor on the outside to see the graph being displayed live.

The date is Saturday 24th November (8:30am till 5:30pm) and Sunday 25th November (9am till mid afternoon). The power runs will be on a first come first served basis. There will also be various weekend specials available, details on the days.

All profits raised will be donated to Cancer Research - http://www.cancerresearchuk.org

I'll be there! Probably on the Sunday?

And if i'm anything under 256 horses i'll be straight up the Mazda garage to have a moan! (j/k)

;)

We should organise a time?

aww.. why in Norwich?!?!? thats miles from Southampton!! What do you think my 2.2 Diesel Honda Accord would make? its not that bad but you could time the turbo lag with Stonehenge its that sluggish! ;)

all for a good cause and a Dyno Shootout is always a great day out!

This is now next weekend!

Hopefully see you there. ;)

Paul, have you found out if you're going on Sat or Sunday?

From what I see in other forums, most of the super/retro cars are going to be attending on Sat. So should be a good day then!

There are some people coming in from North. And Kent. And Southampton.

So no excuses. :D

What's your car make, btw?

But of course I'll post my result.

My 1st run (19th Aug 2006) as Standard Car (i.e. no mods) - http://www.hypergallery.co.uk/rollingroad/...ling_road_graph

My 2nd run (28th July 2007) with Bluefin and K&N Panel Air Filter - http://www.hypergallery.co.uk/fordst170/RR_graph_280707 (extra 12.8bhp)

This weekend, no change to my car, just supporting the cause. But would be happy if it increased a bit. :)

Here's the result... let's recap.

I got 177bhp (with Bluefin) at the same place in July 07. Today I got 173.3bhp so not sure what's happening.

Dan (at the company) advised me to reset the Bluefin so I've just reset'ed Bluefin and might be going back there tomorrow...

Nevermind... next time (again lol)

One of the Evo achieved 620+bhp! Pretty sweet...

Plus some good cars like Nissian Skylie, Classic Scooby, Focus RS, etc.

So the 924S had 150bhp out of the factory... what do you reckon yours has 20 years later? :D
