Guest blackhorse Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Well i have been tinkering around with the new Orange Tytyn 2, i installed the blackberry app on the device. Got my BES account moved onto it. Attached my BIS services to it. I tried using my internet explorer and got nothing, it was as though im in offline mode, it gives no error messages, just thinks for a second then does nothing!! (although it will load any offline content i viewed prior the blackberry install!) After doing a little reading about, i found that the blackberry can stop the internet apn working and it needs to be disabled whilst you launch the needed apn This didnt work, i couldnt even get explorer to ask for apn access So i decided to install msn live and try that, now this staright away live dials out through orangeinternet. It disabled my blackberry BIS service whilst it uses this, but not my BES! Ok this part works, so i try install opera trial, this also dials out fine and surfs the web Again my BES service works in conjunction with opera running but not BIS On a + side im chuffed my BES and internet are working at the same time as it appears there is issues, (or it could be BIS, which i aint fussed about as its only my gmail) But i cant for the life of me figure out why my internet explorer has decided to pack up and not even try get a data connection!! Any ideas? Or am i better sticking with opera anyways and leave it RIP?
Guest nevawlkalone Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 This appears to be a problem with BES/IS on the device...a few people a mentioned it and if i remember correctly you will have to let it RIP
