Transfering video file from N95?

Guys, I have a video file (MP4) on my N95, which I tried to bluetooth over to my Vario III.

It all seemed to go well, but now I cant seem to find the file anywhere on my VIII. Where are transfered files stored? I used Resco File explorer - searched through ALL the folder AND used the Search function by name - and still cant locate the file.

Also, is it possible to make the file transfer to Storage card rather than internal memory?

Unfortunately I cant transfer the video file from N95 to my Mac as the file is on the N95's internal memory.

File transfers go straight to your My Documents folder on the device. Not sure if you can change it.

Thanks Lozzd. But nope. Cant seem to find the file anywhere. I even changed the default folder in the bluetooth settings to go to storage card/videos.

MP4's are compatible with Vario III right?!?!?!? Silly question, but just want to confirm

Even if they weren't it should still appear in the folder... By any chance did you manage to reject the file after it had finished transferring?!

Nope. It asked if I wanted to save to device, and i said yup.

1 thing though... i got a message, twice, that i have to free some memory from device as device was close to full (the file is a 4/5 minute video). But the file transfer still went through, and I got the message asking if i wanted to save to device.

How about BlueToothing it directly to your Mac and then transfering it to your storage card to save space? Ya know, I had some issues when using BT to another phone. We couldn't find the file even though everything went through properly then we tried it a 3rd time and found it in My Docs...Strange!

LOL! I thought about doing this but was too tight to invest in a bluetooth dongle for the Mac ;) But seems this is my only option now :(

Can't you put a microSD card into your N95, copy the files to that then put the same card into the VIII?

Again I thought about that but was a little worried because the card has some programmes for the vario. If these programmes start up would they possibly corrupt the N95?

No totally different operating system which is a secure system requireing certification . So copying to your sd card is your best option

Thanks Wardy. I'll give it a pop tonight. Then I can flash off the video to all my mates (it's a video I took at the KT Tunstall concert the other night);)

Update guys. Trasnfering the SD card trick worked. Although, the only problem is the video file does not play as well in the VIII as it did on the N95. Different video settings i guess. But you can still just about see KT :(
