Where's my battery charging light gone???

I plugged my phone into the charger last night and I seem to have lost the battery charge light.

I think I know what the cause may be, but just wanted some confirmation from you lads.

I've installed Kaiser Notifications - Phil Lee's top app. Does this override the charge light?
