HTC s710 - how to prefer WiFi over EDGE ?

I just got a new s710 and have connected it to my private WLAN. However, when I open Internet Explorer it uses EDGE to connect.

I have searched this forum, google and the official manual and can't seem to figure out how to set a preferred connection type.

It would be greatly apreciated if anyone has any clues to a solution ;)

And please forgive me if this is documented, or the solution is here on the forum already!

Of course I found the solution only 15 minutes after making this thread ;)

The problem was that I had made my WiFi connection "Private/Work" instead of "Internet".
