Guest fwmone Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Hi all, some sources say, WMDC finally supports synching notes - ok, I use Windows Vista Home Premium with WMDC 6.1 and Outlook 2007. WMDC offers me to sync contacts, calendar, tasks, files and mobile favorites, but not the notes. What am I doing wrong? I'm using a S710. Thanks, Falk
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Notes is only currently supported on Pocket PC, not Smartphone - use SyncData Smartphonenotes - http://www.syncdata.it/sphnotes.html - to add Notes support to Smartphone / WMDC. P
Guest genaldar Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 (edited) Phatnotes is also an option. It's more robust, but to be honest its kind of overkill. Edited November 13, 2007 by genaldar
Guest fwmone Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Thanks for your answers. I already knew the mentioned apps but did not want to spend money on notes synchronisation (shame on Microsoft for not including this feature even in WMDC!); what's more, PhatNotes doesn't work on my Vista installation while it did on XP. Thus I switched to OneNote and copied my notes to this app. Not exactly the way I wanted it to be - especially as the mobile client is quite rudimentary - but it works. Falk
