Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Ah, the HTC Canary ;) I think keeping an eye on eBay is going to be your best bet now, but they are very rare! P
Guest Funster Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 im trying to find a spv original remember the first incarnation silver plastic thing, ive looked on ebay anyone know where i can get one? I've got one. It's somewhere in the loft so I'll have to go looking for it this weekend. A nominal payment to cover postage and a small donation to a charity should seal the deal. PM me if you're interested. Cheers, Funster.
Guest Funster Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 I've got one. It's somewhere in the loft so I'll have to go looking for it this weekend. I couldn't attach it to the PM I sent you ;)
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Almost brings a tear to my eye ;) P
Guest Funster Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Here's a photo of both the SPV & E200 I have. I couldn't attach it to the PM I sent you ;) Tell me about it. The SPV still had half a charge and all my call history from way back. Just couldn't believe it when I turned it on. Must have been in the box for at least 3.5 years. Incredible.
Guest pisquee Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Wow brings back so many memories! I remember the excitement of watching the product launch online, and the joy of walking into the orange store i newcastle and buying one, along with the DVD player offer. If only Orange still did the unlimited data for £6.50 a month, or whatever it was!
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 It was a good looking handset for the time! Ah, to have those glory days back! Oh, er, maybe not ;) P
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 When 176x220 was more pixels than we knew what to do with ;) P
Guest Funster Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 God, I remember now, £6.50 unlimited data, great!. Orange have been going backwards ever since ;)
Guest mandt Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Those handsets both look to be in excellent condition, you obviously looked after them You should see the state my old SPV-C550 is in since the Father-in-law inherited it from me ;) still works great though :(
Guest Funster Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 Those handsets both look to be in excellent condition, you obviously looked after them. Yep, they were my prized possessions and were treated well. The C500 & C600 I had were equally well looked after and went to good homes. The guy who was originally interested has gone quiet so I may put them on eBay as a pair as I've only have the one charger. Not sure if you're allowed to link to eBay from the forums but I'll check and then post the details if I decide to go that way.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 I think awarner (MVP) might have been after a canary actually? P
Guest mandt Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 Of course you can: http://www.modaco.com/category/168/eBay-Auctions/
