Guest spacerace Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 well going for a 'converged' device as opposed to a PDA with CF phone module, or even the StarTac with the PDA 'backpack' organiser addon, looks to me like the Nokia 9000 released in 1996 should be a contender...
Guest nicolayhay Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Probably the first wireless phone/pda device was the Qualcomm pdq 800 in 1999, a cell phone with a built-in Palm Pilot. Later in 1999 the Neopoint 1000 went on sale, the first cell phone with wireless web access. In 2001, Samsung released the SPH-i300, the first combined color Palm PDA and cell phone.
